Breakfast and Lunch Service
Beginning in the 2026-27 school year, KUSD will transition from a districtwide Community Eligibility Program (CEP) back to a partial CEP. CEP allows eligible schools to serve healthy breakfast and lunch meals to students at no charge each day.
LakeView K-8 Academy is a non-CEP school. However, students attending non-CEP schools may still qualify for free or reduced-price meals based on household income.
All families are encouraged to complete the annual Free and Reduced Meal Application.
Completing this form may help families and schools qualify for additional benefits, including:
- Free or reduced-price meals at non-CEP schools
- Title I funding support, which helps schools provide additional academic services, instructional support, and resources for students
- Wisconsin School Day Milk (Pre-k/Kindergarten snack milk)
- Athletics fee waivers
- Fine arts fee waivers
- Advanced Placement (AP) testing fee waivers+
Meal Prepayment System
Mosaic is a computerized meal tracking system that allows parents to make prepayments into their student’s meal account. This system eliminates the problems associated with students carrying money for lunch everyday. Parents may make prepayments into their student’s accounts by the week, month or year. Money may be added to your student’s account by filling out a prepayment envelope and returning it to the school or the Food Service department in the ESC building. In person credit card payments can also be made at the ESC. Money may also be added to your student’s meal account by using MySchoolBucks.com.
