I am so lucky to have the opportunity to teach here at Grewenow. Its such a community of great families and teachers who all have a vested interest in making sure all our students are getting a wonderful education.
I attended the University of Milwaukee where I received both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in special education. This year will be my 29th year teaching, 12th here at Grewenow. I feel all students should have the opportunity to succeed. My job is to make sure that happens. As a special education teacher, I advocate passionately for my students in order for them to thrive. There is nothing better than to see growth, both academically and socially, in my students. One reason I love working at Grewenow is the acceptance of all students. My heart soars to see how these little people embrace differences.
Myself personally, have been married to my husband Jeff, for 26 years and together have 2 children. Ethan, 22, just graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a degree in Marketing and sales. We also have Vivien, 19, who attend the University of Oshkosh and is working toward a degree in Psychology. I also have a furbaby named Charlie who I adore. I love reading, photography and all things vintage.
I am so lucky to be at Grewenow and can’t wait to see what this year holds!
