I am very excited to welcome all of the new and returning families to Grewenow. It is an honor to be starting my 14th year here at Grewenow. It is because of the amazing Grewenow families and staff that I feel extremely fortunate to return year after year.
I am originally from Paddock Lake, Wisconsin. Upon graduation, I attended and received my Elementary Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from National Louis University.
I have been married for 12 years to my beautiful wife Andrea and have 3 amazing children, Carter (11), Brady (8), and Evan (4). My family and I love spending time outdoors together. I am a fan of all teams Wisconsin and look forward each year to football season so I can watch the Packers.
During my time here at Grewenow, I have been able to take part in many activities beyond my daily classroom responsibilities. I continue to be one of the school’s supervisors for our Safety Patrol. Each year I coordinate our school’s Black History Bee. School socials over the past few years have been organized with a team of staff members that I have been part of. I have also designed a Minecraft Club for our 3rd through 5th graders as an after-school activity. All of these experiences have allowed me to make connections with students beyond my classroom and motivates me each year to find ways to reach out to offer what I can to all students.
I want to again say how excited I am for the 2017/2018 school year and look forward to working with my student’s families to help the students reach their goals and make their final year at Grewenow the best yet.
