Amy Meltzer
Hello! I’m Mrs. Meltzer a reading intervention teacher. The 2023-24 school year is my second year with the Forest Park community and I’m excited to be here again this year!
Prior to coming here I was a special education teacher at Vernon Elementary for 16 years. Before that I taught 1st, 2nd, and special education in Renton, Washington for 11 years.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 23 years. We have 2 sons, Jake is a junior at Drexel University in Philadelphia and Noah is a freshman at Rochester Institute of Technology in NY. We also have an 12 year old yellow lab, Sadie.
In my free time I enjoy reading, taking walks, going to restaurants, traveling, and spending time with my friends and family.
I’m looking forward to another wonderful year working with Forest Park students, staff, and families!
