How can I help as a parent?
- Talk with your children in both languages
- Play games
- Read stories in your native language
- Point out names of different items/objects to increase vocabulary
- Communicate often with teachers/staff
- Speak to your child in your native language
- Have your child Read-Aloud to you
- Don’t be afraid to ask for help
