Summer school and summer opportunities information is now available on the KUSD Summer Opportunities website.
Middle and High School
Middle and high schools will contact parents/guardians of students who are recommended for summer school academics. Students entering grades 9 through 12 who are interested in Summer Physical Education, Credit Attainment (core academic subjects) and Jump Start to High School (preparing for success in high school) may register online beginning March 13. Physical education registration ends March 27 and families will be notified if they were selected in the lottery by April 21.
Elementary
Summer School for elementary students is designed solely for students who need small group instruction in reading and/or math to address significant skill gaps. Each elementary school will identify students and provide families with summer school registration information. Learn more about dates, hours and locations. Registration will begin March 13. Please contact your child’s school office with questions.
Recreation Department
Additional summer opportunities are available through the Recreation Department. Swimming registration opens May 3 at 8 a.m. and sports registration opens May 10 at 8 a.m.
