The Kenosha Unified School District is seeking community members, students, and staff to serve on its Audit/Budget/Finance, Curriculum/Program, Personnel/Policy and Planning/Facilities committees.
Applicants should have relevant experience related to the committee of interest and a desire to share their professional expertise in support of KUSD’s mission to provide excellent, challenging learning opportunities and experiences that prepare each student for success.
Prospective committee members must reside in Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie or Somers and are required to complete the Standing Committee Interest Form by Monday, Oct. 27.
Each committee includes:
- Six community members
- Two KUSD staff members
- Two KUSD students
- Board member representation
Selected members will serve a one-year term and are expected to attend at least 80% of scheduled meetings. Selected members will be notified of committee appointments by Friday, Nov. 7.
Committees will meet as needed on the following dates:
- Dec. 1, 2025
- Feb. 12, 2026
- April 16, 2026
- June 11, 2026
- Aug. 13, 2026
