Meet Eve Dutkiewicz, or “Mrs. Duck,” as her students lovingly call her, thanks to a last name that’s as beautiful as it is tricky to pronounce!
Eve is an exceptional Speech Therapist serving both the Kenosha School of Language and the STEP program, and her impact reaches far beyond her caseload. Whether she’s supporting Spanish-speaking students with essential language skills or stepping in wherever help is needed, Eve shows up for all students and colleagues.
Her work blends patience, expertise and heart. Eve builds communication skills and also provides critical social-emotional support to her youngest learners and older students in the STEP program. She’s a fierce advocate who understands that communication is about confidence, connection and feeling understood.
Eve brings learning into the real world, seeking out volunteer opportunities that help students develop life and career skills they’ll carry well beyond the classroom. And she does it all with a constant smile and an unwavering commitment to student success.
Fun fact: Eve is also known for crafting an impressive charcuterie board, a talent she generously shared with colleagues that is talked about to this day.
