Grant School Mission
The mission of Grant Elementary School, an educational community, is to empower students, ensuring life long learning in a global society by providing a safe, nurturing environment which includes challenging opportunities that allow all children to reach their fullest potential.
School Highlights
- ALL of our kids, ALL of the time. Our staff is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our learners by providing a warm, nurturing environment where all of our school community members feel safe, secure and valued.
- Grade-level interventions are embedded in the school day through the implementation of W.I.N. (What I Need) in order to meet the academic needs of all students, as well as emotional and behavioral support provided via weekly lessons in all K-5 classrooms.
- Community partnerships allow us to provide on-site school-based therapy through Professional Services Group, volunteer grandparents via KAFASI and Seal-A-Smile via local dentists.
- After school activities such as intramurals and Pokémon Club as well as math and literacy nights provide opportunities for students to extend their learning experiences.
- Award-winning Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) programming focused on providing students with consistent instruction and expectations, promoting the positive and offering a multi-tiered system of support by staff who are deeply invested in the success of our students.
