Grant Elementary teachers are thoroughly involved in the decision making process. A school leadership team was established at the end of the 2013-2014 school year to review data and make academic decisions and goals for the 2014-2015 school year. Next a literacy and math data teams were established to review, analyze and plan for school a school wide focus in each area. Literacy Lab and Math Lab models were established to address our needs in both areas. Grade level teams were already established and they make decisions for their specific grades. The leadership team (which is now the Title 1 Team) meets to discuss the schools SMART Goals, then we present them to the staff for discussion and adjustments as necessary. We also have a PBIS team, Science team, Parent Engagement team and Success At School team (they work on improving academic celebrations and school climate and culture).
