Welcome to Room 237!
Education | Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Ed (1-6) at UW Oshkosh Masters degree in Creative Arts in Learning through Lesley University |
Previous Work Experience | I have been teaching 4th grade at Prairie Lane for 16 years. Amazing, since I’m only 29! |
Hobbies | Camping, being outdoors, volleyball, softball, creating “stuff” with my kiddos, and watching Packers, Badgers, and Brewers |
Favorite Quote | “Come to the edge,” he said. “We can’t, we might fall,” they replied. “Come to the edge,” he said. “We can’t, we’re afraid,” they replied. “Come to the edge.” They came. He pushed them. And they flew. ~ Guillame Appollinaire |
Favorite Book | Thank You Mr. Falker by Patricia Polacco |
Family Info | I was born, raised, and live in Racine with my two babies. Chenoa – 5th grade. Spencer – 2nd grade. They both attend Prairie Lane! |
Something interesting about me | I have written and directed (and have hopes of publishing) 5 children’s plays on diversity, going green, bullying, world hunger, and “pay it forward.” Each 4th grade class gets to put on the play since I teach Science and Social Studies to all 3 groups! |
