School begins the first week of August. The extended school year calendar has the same number of instructional days as other schools. Usually a school year has several holiday breaks and a long three month summer vacation. At Wilson, after each quarter in the school year a two week break follows, along with 1 and a half months off in summer and several holiday breaks. Three of the two week breaks we offer are called “Enrichment Weeks”. It is optional for students to attend during these times and families must sign their students up in advance.
