Reading Corps Tutors

Aside from our interventionist we also have 3 dedicated tutors who work with Wilson students 5 days a week. At Wilson, we are truly rising to the opportunity to present more small group and individual attention for our student body. Our tutors are guided by our Literacy Coach, Mrs. Giese.

Our Tutors:

  • Serve in the school part-time, working with students who need extra help with reading.
  • Conduct tutoring sessions that are 20 minutes long, so each student is tutored 100 minutes per week.
  • Track student progress and regularly meet with coaches to assess data and work toward learning targets.
