What time does school start?

School hours for the 2016-2017 school year are 8:35-3:55.

What is the district’s attendance policy?

How can I obtain my child’s homework when he/she is absent?

If a student is absent more than two days, please call 359-6291 before noon to give teachers time to process requests. Please call the main office after 3 p.m. to assure that homework is available for pick-up.

Are there any medications in the office that you can give my child?

Medication must be provided to the school and a “Medication Authorization Form” must be completed .

Who is my child’s counselor?

Your child’s counselor is determined by the first initial of their last name. A-L, Mr. Hanson; M-Z. Ms. Hildreth.

When may I call my child’s teacher?

To speak to your child’s teacher, please call the main office to leave a detailed message. The message will be forwarded via email and the teacher will contact you at their earliest convenience.

I lost or do not have my password for Infinite Campus. Where can I get this information?

Parents can now change their Infinite Campus password through the Infinite Campus portal. Directions for changing security settings and passwords are on the “Resources” page in the “Infinite Campus” section. Parents who have lost their logon id must come to the main office with a photo ID and must be listed as the student’s parent/legal guardian.

To whom do I speak concerning my child’s overdue library book or lost book charge?

If you have questions concerning overdue or lost books please contact Ms. Barth or Mrs. Binninger in the Library Media Center at 359-6053. You may also view your child’s record in the library catalog on the library web page.

What can my child do if he/she does not have Internet access at home to complete assignments?

Contact Ms. Barth at the Washington MS Library (262-359-6291) to find out about Kajeets – a wireless hot spot that can be checked out of the Washington Library.
