Synopsis<\/strong>:<\/strong> Long after returning from Neverland, Wendy decides that she must find Peter in order to reclaim her kiss and move on with her life. Along the way, she meets other girls who went to Neverland and learns she is not alone. A coming-of-age exploration of first love and lasting loss, Lost Girl continues the story of J.M. Barrie\u2019s beloved character \u2013 the girl who had to grow up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Audition Location<\/strong>:<\/strong> Room 229 (If you cannot find, come to the Studio Theatre)<\/span><\/p>\n

Audition Times<\/strong>:<\/strong> 4:00-7:00 (Monday), 3:30-6:00 (Tuesday)<\/span><\/p>\n

Audition Sign Up<\/strong>:<\/strong> Students will be able to <\/span>sign up here<\/span><\/a> for a 10 minute time slot on either audition\u00a0<\/span>date.\u00a0 A reminder will be emailed to each student two days before their audition date.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Audition Details<\/strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0 Students are asked to perform one monologue from the <\/span>provided monologues<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 <\/span>These monologues do not need to be fully memorized, but the performer should be quite\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

familiar with them.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Characters:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Wendy<\/b> – Female, 18-20, sometimes 13-14ish. A storyteller. She might gravitate toward melancholy, but she\u2019s still openhearted and hopeful, with an undercurrent of tough determination.<\/span><\/p>\n

Peter<\/b> – Male, 13ish, then 18-20. Always well-intentioned and so charismatic you could just die. He\u2019s not a villain. He\u2019s just a boy.<\/span><\/p>\n

A \/ B \/ C <\/b>– Female 16-22. Chorus. Different versions of Wendy from her past, memories distorted through time, and other girls who went to Neverland. All of the above.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mother<\/b> – Female, 40s. Tired, thoughtful, and patient.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cora<\/b> – Female, 16-22. No nonsense.<\/span><\/p>\n

Callie<\/b> – Female, 16-22. Romantic but self-aware.<\/span><\/p>\n

Krista <\/b>– Female, 16-22. Empathetic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nina<\/b> – Female, 16-22. Curious and kind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Slightly<\/b> – Male, 18-22. Careful, caring, and fiercely loyal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toodles <\/b>– Male, 16-22. Silly and sincere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nibs<\/b> – Male, 18-22. Logical. Acerbic.<\/span><\/p>\n

Curly<\/b> – Male, 16-22. Laid-back but observant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Detective<\/b> – Male, 30s-40s. Single-minded, always on the edge of defeat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therapist<\/b> – Male 30s-40s. Trying his best.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doctor<\/b> – Male 30s-40s. Even-tempered.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boy <\/b>– Male, 18-25. Quiet confidence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rehearsal Information<\/strong>:<\/strong> Rehearsals will officially begin on November 4th. Rehearsals will typically occur every weekday from 5:30pm-8:30pm. A complete rehearsal calendar will be shared through KUSD Google Drive once the cast list is posted. Cast members are not permitted to miss more than three rehearsals, unless absences were already scheduled, so please list all conflicts on your audition form.
