Attention seniors: are you still interested in going to Gateway next year but haven’t gotten around to applying yet? Well you’re in luck! Tomorrow, January 17th we will be hosting an application workshop! This is also an opportunity for any students interested in the Promise program to apply. VERY IMPORTANT: If you attend this workshop, the $30 application fee will be waived!!! See your counselor for a pass if you’d like to attend.
Attention juniors: are you nervous about taking the ACT? Are you beginning to wonder what to expect on the test? We have the perfect solution for you: ACT Bootcamp! On January 25th Tremper will be hosting an all-day intensive ACT prep session FOR FREE!!!! Normally $350, but for Tremper students it’s FREE. To sign up, go to the counseling tab on Tremper’s home page and click on the left column under ACT. See your counselor with any questions.
Attention All Students
The annual snowcoming dance is Saturday Feb 2nd from 7:00-10:30pm at Marina Shores.
Tickets are $15, and can be purchased during all lunches through Friday, January 18th. If you are involved in Band-O-Rama and want to attend the dance, a special band ticket can be bought. You must sign up in room 109 prior to Friday, January 18th. Your tickets will be sold to you during finals week. Permission slips can be found in 109, the library and the main office. See Mr Hardy in room 109 with any questions.
Now is your chance to submit pictures for your senior banquet slide show! All seniors received an email link to load their favorite high school photos to. Include school activities such as theater, band, sports events, and school dances. Pictures must be during school activities and include seniors.
From Key Club
Key Club will be selling Threads of Hope bracelets during all lunch periods today. The bracelets are $2 for 1 bracelet, or $5 for 3 bracelets. Half of the proceeds will go to the families in the Philippines who made them. Don’t miss your chance to get a great accessory or gift that helps others from across the world!
Tomorrow is Pizza Thursday
Come out with your $2 and support the Library Aides. Purchase a hot slice or two of your favorite pizza during all lunches tomorrow!
The KUSD Theatre Arts production of Living Out has performances this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in the Studio Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for students. Please see Mr. Cicerale in the Studio Theatre with any questions.
From Ski & Snowboard Club
On Friday, January 25th, the ski and snowboard club has a combined trip with Indian Trail HS. What a great way to get over finals! The cost of $55 covers a coach bus, lift ticket, and rental if needed. See Mr. Kellner in counseling for more information and permission slips.
Students, please check your Infinite Campus on a regular basis (at LEAST once a week) to ensure your attendance is accurate. If you find you were marked absent in error, please talk with that instructor. The instructor will email the Attendance Office with corrections to be made.
Tickets for Friday night’s Basketball Doubleheader vs Indian Trail will be on sale in the Main Office, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; before and after school, and during all lunches. $3 per student & $4 per adult. Varsity Girls play at 5:30pm, Varsity Boys at 7pm. Come support our varsity teams.
