School Highlights

  • Award-winning Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) school focused on providing students with consistent expectations, promoting the positive and offering a multi-tiered system of support where needed.
  • An inclusive school that welcomes students from all backgrounds, socio-economic statuses, abilities, genders, etc., where students are taught to celebrate and honor similarities and differences.
  • Grade level intervention time is offered four days per week to meet the needs of all students.
  • The News@Stocker is a live news broadcast run by fourth- and fifth-grade students three days per week that highlights events, birthdays, and academic and behavioral successes.
  • Library commons and makerspace host a variety of colorful learning spaces for reading, researching and using technology.
  • Parents, Teachers and Kids at Stocker (PTKS) is an active parent group that organizes family events and supports the school community.

The mission of Stocker Elementary School, a diverse learning community which values students, families and staff, is to academically challenge all students to be creative, critical thinkers, who discover and develop their unique interests through innovative opportunities provided by the collaborative efforts of our community.
