Wisconsin Professional Police Association Scholarship Program 01/15/26 Any Wisconsin resident enrolling in a college or vocational/technical school in a course of study leading to a two- or four-year degree in police science, criminal justice, or a law enforcement-related field-which does not include law school-is eligible.   10/08/25
Equitable Excellence Scholarship $20,000 12/18/25 Seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher who will be attending either a 2 or 4 year college. Financial need is considered.   11/13/25
Coolidge Scholarship Full-ride 12/16/25 Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2027 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Academic excellence is the primary criterion considered by the Coolidge Scholarship. Secondary criteria include an interest in public policy and an appreciation of the values President Coolidge championed. Successful candidates will also demonstrate humility and have a record of genuine service to their communities.   10/02/25
Engineers Foundation of Wisconsin $3,000 to $5,000 12/15/25 Only for high school seniors entering either a 4-year Bachelor of Science Engineering program or a 4-year Bachelor of Science Engineering Technology program. The program must be accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). Applicant should have intent to enter the professional engineering field upon graduation: GPA equal to, or greater than 3.2; ACT Composite Score equal to, or greater than 26; Computer Science majors are not acceptable.   10/23/25

Distinguished Young Women 12/01/25 For high school juniors. In order to qualify for or win any of the scholarships offered by Distinguished Young Women, you must participate in a program for your local area. This could include attending a rehearsal(s) and being a part of an on-stage performance. Kenosha County Dairy Promotion $1,000 05/24/25 The Kenosha County Dairy Promotion Scholarship is open to all students who are Kenosha County residents. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a high school senior or a student currently enrolled in one of the following: any two- or four-year university, college, or technical school including UW Madison Farm and Industry Short Course. Student should be planning to pursue a degree or certificate in agriculture or a field benefiting or related to rural life.   02/11/25
Charles & Juliette Griffin Kenosha Area Boys Scholarship $1,000 05/18/25 You must be a resident of the city of Kenosha and a graduate of Kenosha schools. You must be attending or accepted to attend an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree (associate, collegiate, or graduate). Have and/or maintain a minimum of 2.0 GPA; evidence of satisfactory GPA is required. GFWC Woman’s Club of Kenosha $1,000 05/15/25 Seniors who are currently in high school, residing in Kenosha County, and planning to enroll full-time in a four institution of higher education. Kenosha Education Association One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 will be awarded to a student entering a four-year college/university program; one $500 scholarship will be awarded to a student entering a two-year associate degree or technical school program. 05/11/25 Any KUSD high school senior is eligible to apply, excluding students who are eligible for or are receiving the Governor’s Wisconsin Academic Excellence Scholarship. Tri-County Contractor’s Association $500 to $2,500 04/30/25 This scholarship is available to students pursuing education in a construction-related field at a trade school, college, or university. Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation $2,500 04/25/25 Must have a connection to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce either through a member employer or a parent/guardian’s employer. Applicants must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5/4.0, or have shown considerable improvement in their academic performance. Applicants with a GPA below 2.5 must submit a written statement explaining why they should be considered despite not meeting the minimum GPA requirement.   02/28/25

American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund needs-based scholarship designed to fulfill a financial gap remaining 03/26/25 The American Legion wants to ensure higher education is a possibility for children whose parents lost their lives while serving our country. Beginning with the 2017 award year, The American Legion expanded the scholarship to include children of VA-rated, post-9/11 veterans with a combined disability rating of 50 percent or higher. The American Legion and the Legion Riders offer support through the Legacy Scholarship Fund.   03/19/25

Prevention Magazine Scholarship $500 12/31/24 The applicant must write an essay (600-800 words, double spaced) about a personal encounter you or someone you know has had with abuse. The applicant must currently be a senior in high school in Wisconsin with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. The applicant must also have plans to attend college or plans for a training program, JATC, military, ect. Wisconsin American Legion Oratorical Contest Up to $25,000 11/30/24 Do you have a student that is a good public speaker – perhaps involved in Forensics and is knowledgeable about the US Constitution? The American Legion has an Oratorical contest program that is a good opportunity for students to win scholarship monies. The student must be in 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade. The students start out by contacting their local Wisconsin American Legion Post. The Post will hold a contest – usually in December or January, the winner at the Post contest moves on to a County contest, usually in December or January. The winner of the County contest moves on to the District contest usually in January or February.   10/01/24

Epilepsy Foundation of Wisconsin $1,000 06/03/24 Applicants must have an epilepsy diagnosis or be caring for someone with an epilepsy diagnosis. They must also be legal residents of Wisconsin who will be attending any type of higher education institution, including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, technical colleges, or any type of trade school. Applicants must provide proof of their acceptance letter for their higher education institution but can be provided at a later time. Applicants must complete an application and essay from one category that is applicable (traditional student, caregiver, or nontraditional student). Applicants need two letters of recommendation from either their epileptic care team, a school official, a community member, or a volunteer/work reference.   04/18/24

UW HELP Emma D. Boettiger Scholarship $8,000 03/22/24 The scholarship will award two academic scholarships to Wisconsin high school seniors who plan to enroll full time at a Universities of Wisconsin institution starting this upcoming Fall 2024 term. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.0. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to applicants planning to major in a health-related field. Applicants must submit an unofficial transcript, a resume and/or list of extracurricular activities. Applicants must also submit a typed essay approximately 250 words addressing their educational and career goals and discuss a previous experience that has been significant to their personal development.   03/07/24

Playford V. Thorson, III Family Memorial Scholarship $500 03/15/24 This scholarship is to help defray the cost of attending a KUSD summer band or orchestra program. Scholarships for Continental Band, Rambler Band and the Summer Orchestra Program will be awarded. Students in band, orchestra or choir that are accepted into the WSMA Middle Level Honors Music Project will also be eligible for a scholarship. Must be enrolled at Lincoln MS or Washington MS and have a financial need for the scholarship, as explained in the application. Students must have a recommendation from their middle school music director, one teacher at their middle school and one additional recommendation.
