School History – Established in 1876!<\/h2>\n

Community is a huge part of our success at Pleasant Prairie Elementary School and it has been that way for over 140 years!\u00a0 Our Motto that is posted over the main entrance is the same that was in our building in 1922, “Let the Spark of Learning Glow”<\/strong>.\u00a0 The engraved motto from the original 1922 building is now displayed inside our school main entrance foyer, the one outside the entrance is a replica of the original. With this motto and a strong sense of community we have everything we need to succeed!\u00a0 We have a proud history, a wonderful focus on character and a deep history that has taught a community the power of learning and the importance of a light that will shine. Our current school building was built in 1994 but history dates back to 1876!<\/p>\n
