Update on graduations, promotions and prom

KUSD logo

Below is very important information regarding a variety of spring events. Please carefully review each section for specific details so you and your child(ren) may begin planning. Please know that the health and wellness of all is the driving factor in making these decisions. We at KUSD hope for a return to normalcy as much as our students, staff and families, but also acknowledge that we are not quite there yet. As we continue to work together to uphold safety measures, such as physical distancing, enhanced hygiene and disinfecting, self-screening for illness, etc., we make strides toward ending the impacts of the pandemic and returning to treasured events of the past.

PROM

Due to ongoing concerns about the potential spread of COVID-19 during large group gatherings and vaccines not being available to individuals 16 and over until at least May 1 per the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, KUSD has made the difficult decision to cancel prom.

5th AND 8th GRADE PROMOTIONS

Due to ongoing concerns about the potential spread of COVID-19 during large group gatherings, KUSD will not be holding in-person 5th or 8th grade promotion events. Instead, each elementary and middle school will celebrate the successes and achievements of students in their own unique way and will provide families with details as they become available.
