Six schools participate in Slimetastic Stock the Shalom Center Challenge 2019

Jeffery, Nash, Pleasant Prairie, Prairie Lane, Stocker and Whittier elementary schools held a six-school competition to collect toiletries and canned goods for the Shalom Center of the Interfaith Network. Between the six schools, more than 6,000 deodorants, 3,000 bottles of shampoo/conditioner, 2,000 tubes of toothpaste, 1,300 boxes of tissue, and 2,500 cans of food were collected!

As an incentive for the collection, the six schools were divided into two teams to compete. Team 1 - Whittier, Prairie Lane, Pleasant Prairie versus Team 2- Nash, Stocker, and Jeffery. Team 1 was the winning team by just 260 points, and as a reward, the students from Team 1 got to slime the principals from Team 2.
