Roosevelt Elementary School first-graders embarked on a virtual tour of Music Center Inc., 7700 Green Bay Road in Kenosha, which is owned by Roosevelt teacher Jackie Steinborn's family. As the virtual teacher, Steinborn taught the lesson from the Music Center while exploring different instruments throughout the building for the children to learn more about sound. This kicked off the new IB "How the World Works" unit to explore why sounds are so important in the world. The tour was wrapped up with a dance party to get the students moving, complete with music and special lighting.
