Harvey Elementary School first-graders participated in "Cornucopia of Fall" today at Hawthorn Hollow, Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum to learn about Native American culture and traditions through various activities, such as corn husk doll-making, apple pressing and more. Students also learned about the life stages of plants and collected seeds as they hiked along the trails. This program aligns with Harvey’s studies of cultures and traditions.
