This statewide program celebrates excellence in high school musical theater, with over 500 awards presented to students from 116 productions across Wisconsin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The program, named after Madison-area philanthropist and arts supporter W. Jerome Frautschi, encourages, recognizes and honors excellence in musical theater. Schuch \u2013 Set Design<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jessica Baker \u2013 Lighting Design<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kristen Singer \u2013 Costume Design<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eric Mielke \u2013 Sound Design<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI continue to be impressed at the high quality of high school musical theater programs across our state,\u201d said Tim Sauers, CO-CEO and Chief Artistic Experiences Officer. \u201cI applaud them all for their dedication and commitment to ensuring that students have access to musical theater and the opportunity to excel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">THE JERRY AWARDS is a high school musical awards program that encourages, recognizes and honors excellence in high school musical theater. The program began in the 2009\/10 school year with 23 productions within 45 miles of Madison and has since expanded across the state through partnerships with Marcus Center for the Performing Arts and The Grand Theater.
