{"id":16624,"date":"2025-04-10T12:50:03","date_gmt":"2025-04-10T17:50:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/lakeview\/?post_type=news&#038;p=16624"},"modified":"2025-04-11T09:14:11","modified_gmt":"2025-04-11T14:14:11","slug":"2025-ap-exam-schedule","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/lakeview\/news\/2025-ap-exam-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 AP Exam Schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#Schedule\">Jump to AP Exam Schedule<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hello AP Students and Families,<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This letter contains important information for students who have registered to take a College Board AP Exam this school year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There has been a significant change in the format of the AP exams.\u00a0 Some exams are fully digital while others are hybrid digital.\u00a0 As a result, <\/span><b>all students are required to download the Bluebook app on their school Chromebooks before exam day<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Detailed instructions on how to download the app can be found on slides 7 through 12 of the following Google Slideshow: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/1Q-W2OxdhPqxuh6oaF7zqk3FgSuy_PpyMdH27iqJaI60\/edit?usp=sharing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. To ensure all of the necessary updates have been completed, students should open Bluebook the day before their exam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0It is highly recommended that students preview an exam through Bluebook to familiarize themselves with the app\u2019s features. <\/span><b>On testing day, students will need to know their College Board login credentials as we are unable to retrieve or reset any login usernames or passwords.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0 If students need assistance with their login information, they must call College Board prior to test day at 888-225-5427.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">AP Exams begin the week of May 5 and will last for two weeks.\u00a0 The AP schedule is posted <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apcentral.collegeboard.org\/exam-administration-ordering-scores\/exam-dates\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Specific testing locations and student report time is attached at the end of this letter.\u00a0 Students will need to know the day, location, and session of their test(s).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Exam Day, students must bring a fully charged Chromebook along with the charging cord, a photo ID, and MyAP College Board login information.\u00a0 Optional items include <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apstudents.collegeboard.org\/exam-policies-guidelines\/calculator-policies\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">an approved calculator<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (as determined by exam) and a small snack and water bottle for their break.\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/apstudents.collegeboard.org\/exam-policies-guidelines\/what-to-bring-on-exam-day\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Please click here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to review what to bring on Exam Day.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cell phones and watches are prohibited until students have been dismissed from the testing room.\u00a0 If a student brings a phone or watch, it must be turned off and will be collected by the proctor during the exam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Students are responsible for their own transportation. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Please note that the time listed for each exam below is for the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">exam only<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 The total time of an AP exam varies depending on the number of students taking the exam, as well as reading instructions aloud, completing identification information on answer sheets, distribution and collecting materials, and the student break in between test sections.\u00a0 If you are picking up your student, estimate an extra 20-30 minutes to exam timing.\u00a0 Ensure you have flexible and reliable transportation for testing!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Exams begin promptly at 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM, so students must report earlier to allow enough time to check in each student.
