It is a thrilling time since this is a spooky season, and while Halloween is around the corner, here are the scary, the spooky, the terrifying games to play during Halloween.

Now they’re a bunch of scary games to play all over the internet, but I’m going to talk about four games. Three of the games are highly known, while the last one is fairly underrated and some people don’t even know about it. So let us begin.

           Phasmophobia

Ever wanted to play a paranormal investigator? Well you can with Phasmophobia, a four-player online co-op psychological horror survival game. You or a group of friends are paranormal investigators at haunted locations like houses, school, or even a prison. It is your job to go inside of the haunted locations, with the tools inside of the van to find out what type of ghost it is. But be careful, you have a sanity level and if that goes to zero, the ghost starts to hunt you or one of your friends. With the new Halloween update, there are four new ghost types, the Onryo, the Twins, the Obake, and Raiju; a new map called The Camp; and a new difficulty nightmare that will make the game a lot tougher for the more expert player if they’re willing to give it a shot. If you want to try out Phasmophobia, the game is only released on PC with a cost of $13.99.

Resident Evil

Having a scary survival story with third-person or first-person gameplay.  is fun to play and also scary for the most part. If you ever wanted that feeling, Resident Evil is the game to play during Halloween, and even after Halloween too. Resident Evil is a video game series that consists of survival horror. Most of the game series is third-person shooter games, but the recent release of Resident Evil Village and even Resident Evil 7 are both first-person shooter games. The story involves  zombies, monsters and the survive for the main character and also for the side characters involved in each Resident Evil game. Each of the games in the series have their own story, that link up in some way, shape or form to other games in the series. If you want to play the latest release of Resident Evil Village, you should go play Resident Evil 7 since both stories link up. Resident Evil Village will cost you $60 on any platform, while Resident Evil $10 with a discount cost on any platform.

Friday the 13th

For the people who love Halloween, even horror films, this shouldn’t be a shocker to you. Friday the 13th is the game for Jason fans, where survival is key while getting hunted by a killer, which is, you guessed it, Jason. The game is a third-person horror survival game, where you or a group of friends pick a role, either teen counselors, or the killer himself Jason Voorhees. Jason is given an array of abilities from tracking, hunting, and killing his prey. The job of the teen counselors is to escape the camp area from the killer to win, while the killer’s job is to kill every single one of the teen counselors to win the game. You can bring eight people to play Friday the 13th or even matchmake with other people. The game is on any platform and will cost you $20 without a discount.

Lunch Lady

This game is really underrated as a horror game, but still holding its ground in the gaming world. Lunch Lady is a four-player game with a matchmaking system horror survival game, where you, your friends, or even random people are locked up in a school, and your job is to find 10 journals that have the final answers in them. While you’re looking for the journals, just remember you’re not alone in the building; a lunch lady is around, looking for you and once she sees you, she’ll catch you! With each journal you pick up, the lunch lady gets more aggressive, and once you grab all 10 journals, you better run to the exit as fast as you can, because she will not stop running until she gets to you. This game is really fun with friends, and also underrated in the horror game world. Lunch Lady is only on PC, with a cost of $5.
