Hawks suffer surreal loss against Bradford

The Indian Trail Hawks faced a crushing defeat against the Bradford Red Devils Oct. 16. Bradford racked up two touchdown passes in the second quarter and then a final touchdown run in the final quarter, leaving IT scoreless. 

Senior Gavin Powell contested IT’s highlight of the game when the offensive lineman plucked up a punt in the Hawk’s territory and managed to  break free for a wild 75-yard run. 

The Hawks host Tremper this Friday, Oct. 23, for IT’s homecoming game, and will have to work double time on offense to put up a firm win in order to salvage their regular season. 

When asked if this upcoming game was a make it or break it game, junior defensive back Connor Koch responded firmly. 

“Definitely. Everyone knows our back is to the wall and that we’re gonna have to fight to win this Friday,” he said.

IT and Tremper both hold 0-3 records in the Southeast Conference.
