Boys soccer beats Franklin

On Oct. 1, Indian Trail High School & Academy boys varsity soccer came together to beat Franklin 3-2, at Franklin High School. The Hawks scored two goals towards the end of the first half to take a 2-1 lead at halftime. Junior Efrain Ramirez scored both goals and the assists came from senior captain Sean Robinson. The third goal was scored in the second half by  sophomore David Chon, which was unassisted. As of Oct. 7, the Hawks were ranked second in the Southeast Conference with a record of 3-2-1 and a three-game winning streak. Tremper High School leads the conference with a 4-1 record.

 

Indian Trail boys volleyball deliver big triple wins against Franklin

The  Indian Trail boys varsity volleyball team swept Franklin Tuesday night, Sept. 29 with a powerful 3-0 win at Indian Trail High School. Players had a killer first set of 25-16; the second set was 25-22; and then the sweep with a third set 25-21. Putting it all together, they outscored their opponent 75-59, with a total of 36 kills. Sophomore Jackson Wilhelmson achieved a .444 percent attacking average for the game.

On Oct. 1, the Hawks  swept Oak Creek with a strong 3-0 win at Oak Creek High School. Set totals were 25-13; 25-13; and 25-21, outscoring their opponents 75-47. Both junior Tanner Johnson and sophomore Jackson Wilhelmson had outstanding attracting percentages of 1.000. The Hawks currently have a 3-1 winning record and have a two-game winning streak.

 

Hawks girls volleyball lands on top, takes down Franklin in four

ITA girls varsity volleyball won a tough match 3-1 against Franklin High School on Oct. 2, at Indian Trail High School. Bouncing back after a 21-25 loss in the first match, the lady Hawks won the second  set 26-24; third set 25-22; and finally the fourth set 25-20. They outscored their opponent 97-91 and brought their record to 2-3.
