Of the 58 schools that offer a boys volleyball program in Wisconsin, eight remain to play for the single-division state WIAA title.

And Indian Trail High School’s team is one of them.

The Hawks (34-3) will face Middleton (35-5)  in the quarterfinals at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9,  at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. The single-elimination tournament features matches with a best-of-five-games format. This is the third time in four years Indian Trail boys volleyball has made it state.

The Hawks earned a spot in the final eight this season with a 27-25, 25-21, 25-18 sweep of Racine St. Catherine’s/Racine Lutheran in the sectional final hosted here at Indian Trail High School. Indian Trail’s players also are the champions of the Southeast Conference this year. Here are some photos highlighting team play at the sectional final against St. Catherine.
