Five Finger Death Punch is a metal band that has the reputation to not disappoint an audience. That fact rained true when the band performed live Oct. 5, 2013, at the Rave in Milwaukee.

The concert was to showcase their new album the The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1. They performed with Gemini Syndrome, Miss May I, and Escape the Fate at this concert.

This concert was nothing but high energy from the band to the audience. If anyone is looking for a good metal concert, this is one to see. Ivan Moody, the band lead singer, knows how to make the show worth your while. The vocalist loves to interact with the audience. During the performance, he brought

two young kids onto stage and said, “This is the next generation of metal.” The looks on the kids faces were priceless.

My favorite part of the concert was when Ivan Moody and guitarist Jason Hook performed a acoustic version of “Remember Everything.” It was a good calm down from all the thrashing metal music. Although, right after the song was finished the band was able to turn up the volume and bring the metal back to the concert.

Something that really touched the audience was when Ivan Moody asked all the veterans to raise their hands. After that he proceeded to go back stage, grab an American flag, and give it to a gentleman with his hand up in the front row. Then he dedicated the next song to all the veterans in the audience.

Overall the concert was full of amazing music and the band did not disappoint the audience. Make sure to check out their newer album The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 2.
