Infinite is a seven-member South Korean Pop boy band under the company Woolim Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong, all between the ages of 24-20. Debuting on June 9, 2010 with the song “Come Back Again”, and later releasing the track “She’s Back” and a mini album entitled First Invasion.

The next year they released a track entitled “Be Mine” off of their first full album Over the Top, which helped the band rise to popularity in South Korea. In 2012, Infinite released “the Chaser.” The song was named #1 on Billboard’s top 100 K-pop songs of the year.

By now the guys had gained enough popularity worldwide. At the beginning of 2013, they announced they were going on their first world tour entitled “One Great Step.” The tour consists of 23 shows, in four legs, with concerts in Asia, South America, North America, and Europe. The tour started off without a hitch on Aug. 9 in South Korea. On Nov. 13, Infinite performed at the Fillmore Theater in Maryland, the third stop on the North American leg of tour.

The concert started off with a bang lights flashed, and the crowd roared as a curtain dropped and all seven of the boys stood on stage. The music blasted and you can feel the rumble of the bass through your entire body as they performed one of their latest singles “Destiny.” They continued to perform a set list of over 23 songs. During the more upbeat and playful songs, the guys waved and threw small teddy bears at the audience. The venue was on the smaller side, which allowed them to reach out and touch hands with the crowd. They even took photos with fans’ cameras on stage. By the end of the concert, it didn’t feel like you were standing and shouting for three hours. The boys said their heartfelt goodbyes, bowed and walked offstage. The concert is over, but there still was an overjoyous feeling in the atmosphere.

For many international fans, this was a once in a lifetime experience, as not many K-pop acts have concerts outside of Asia. People of all ages and backgrounds came together and shared in a wonderful experience which proving music has no boundaries.
