Spider-man: No Way Home releases on Dec.17. The film directly follows Spider-man: Far From Home and shows what life is like for Peter Parker after Mysterio exposed him as Spider-man to the public.

From what we know, Peter will see how his not-so-secret life has an impact on the ones he loves and he will seek out help from Doctor Strange and ultimately open up the multiverse. We get to see a glimpse of the multiverse in shows Loki and What if? and the dangers it can bring if they open up.

No Way Home will further the multiverse of Marvel which leaves room for a lot of rumors. One rumor is that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will appear. Tobey Maguire was the star of three Spider-man movies from 2002 through 2007, and Andrew Gar- field starred in the two Amazing Spider-man movies (2012-2014), so fans speculate — with the multiverse opening up — they will make an appearance.

The two trailers that Sony dropped, the teaser trailer and the official trailer, brought excitement across the fandom. We got the confirmation of Doc Ock, Green Goblin, The Lizard, Sandman and Electro, who are all going to be played by their original actors in the previous Spider-man films. We also got a glimpse of some scenes which lead fans to theorize about what will happen, like the scene where Peter is being investigated. Many believe the lawyer in the scene in Dare-devil, a blind vigilante that also has his own self-titled Netflix original series.

There is a scene where MJ falls off of a building and fans suggest that Garfield’s Spider-man will swoop in and save her, gaining redemption for when Gwen died in his universe. We also get to see Doctor Strange and, from the way the official trailer ended, many assume that this film will lead into his movie, The Multiverse of Madness.

Whatever happens in the film, there is guarantee to be packed theaters across the world. Fans are ex-cited to see characters they grew up with be on the big screen once more as the multiverse opens up and furthers the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
