As a junior at Indian Trail High School and Academy, Sheridan is involved with the Youth Apprenticeship program in the area of Health Science.  She is working at Walgreens as a Pharmacy Tech youth apprentice. She has exceeded the Pharmacy Manager’s expectations and will be receiving her Pharmacy Tech license this summer in the Walgreens training program.

She will also be enrolled in the CNA course at Gateway Tech College this summer and will hopefully have the opportunity to participate in the Nursing Pathway her senior year.

 Joey has been a leader in DECA at Indian Trail High School for the past four years of high school. He held roles as a VP of Marketing and Co-President. He was a mentor to many of the members preparing for competition. Senior year, Joey was elected as the VP of Event Management for the State of WI DECA Officer team.

Joey is driven, goal-oriented and has a passion for leading others, he will be a great contributor to his future Notre Dame family.

 While attending Reuther High School, Josiah was also a student in Gateway’s Welding Academy.  He took 16 college credits and received his Welding/Maintenance and Fabrication technical diploma before he finished his junior year.  This program prepared Josiah for an entry-level welding career.

The Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Gateway to Technology (GTT) program is taught at each middle school featuring a project-based curriculum designed to challenge and engage the natural curiosity and imagination of middle school students.  They envision, design and test their ideas with the same advanced modeling software used by companies like Lockheed Martin, Intel and Sprint.  They study mechanical and computer control systems; think robotics and animation.  Students also explore the importance of energy, including innovative ways to reduce, conserve and produce it using solar, thermal and wind power.  The knowledge that students gain and the skills they build from GTT create a strong foundation for further STEM Learning in high school and beyond.  Throughout GTT, students acquire knowledge and skills in problem solving, teamwork and innovation as well as explore STEM careers.  Courses currently taught in middle school are Automation and Robotics, Design and Modeling and Green Architecture.
