{"id":18122,"date":"2026-04-22T13:12:23","date_gmt":"2026-04-22T18:12:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/indiantrail\/?post_type=news&#038;p=18122"},"modified":"2026-04-22T13:12:38","modified_gmt":"2026-04-22T18:12:38","slug":"expanding-fafsa-access-through-community-partnership","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/indiantrail\/news\/expanding-fafsa-access-through-community-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Expanding FAFSA Access Through Community Partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">As part of the Regional FAFSA Network and ongoing partnership with KUSD schools,\u00a0<b>Bradford High School<\/b>\u00a0is taking a community-driven approach to increase FAFSA completion by partnering with the Boys &amp; Girls Club of Kenosha and Building Our Future to meet students and families where they are.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<b>Wednesday, April 29 (5:00\u20137:00 PM)<\/b>, KUSD and RUSD seniors and their families are invited to the Boys &amp; Girls Club Teen Center for\u00a0<b>one-on-one support completing FAFSA applications<\/b>. This effort is strengthened through a collective impact approach, with additional partners including Junior Achievement, Succeed Beyond High School, Higher Expectations Racine County, and Gateway Technical College.<\/p>\n<p><b>Why it matters:<\/b>\u00a0FAFSA completion is a key gateway to postsecondary access and persistence. Students who complete the FAFSA are more likely to stay engaged, graduate on time, and access financial resources that make college and career training possible.
