Beginning this year, Parent-Initiated Transfers are available to all students in grades 4K-12.<\/p>\n<p>The Parent-Initiated Transfer window (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/board-education\/policies\/policy-5330\/\">Policy 5330<\/a>) closes March 21, 2026.<\/p>\n<h2>How to Apply<\/h2>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/55MDRUbcnoX7BfNA7\" class=\"button primary is-shade is-large lowercase\" style=\"border-radius:10px;\">\n\t\t<span>Apply Now<\/span>\n\t<\/a>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Form closes March 21<\/li>\n<li>Late applications will not be accepted<\/li>\n<li>Families will be notified of decisions by May 1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Already on an Approved Transfer?<\/h2>\n<p>Students with a currently approved Parent-Initiated Transfer do not need to reapply to remain in their current school.<\/p>\n<p>Questions about transfer status for 2026-27 should be directed to your child\u2019s current school.<\/p>\n<h2>Families Not Currently Enrolled in KUSD<\/h2>\n<p>Families in the community who are not currently enrolled in KUSD may submit a transfer request.
