Hillcrest students had the incredible opportunity to visit their mentors at Fire Station #4 for an inside look at what life as a firefighter is like. Students explored ambulances, toured the training tower, and saw firsthand where firefighters eat, rest and prepare for emergencies.<\/p>\n
This hands-on experience gave students a deeper appreciation for the teamwork, skill and dedication required in the fire service while also opening their eyes to exciting careers in public safety and emergency response.<\/p>\n
Most importantly, the visit highlighted the powerful mentorship firefighters provide, supporting and guiding Hillcrest students both in and out of school.
