{"id":13977,"date":"2025-03-20T15:00:39","date_gmt":"2025-03-20T20:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/hillcrest\/blog\/news\/2024-summer-food-service-program\/"},"modified":"2025-03-20T15:04:16","modified_gmt":"2025-03-20T20:04:16","slug":"summer-food-service-program","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/hillcrest\/news\/summer-food-service-program\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Summer Food Service Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14384 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/hillcrest\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/35\/2025\/03\/utensils.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"52\" height=\"52\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kenosha Unified will again be hosting the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which offers nutritious meals to children in our community during the summer.<\/p>\n<p>The SFSP, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under.
