Learning Targets
I can read multiple perspectives of an historical event to broaden my understanding of the political and cultural issues of the late 1960s.
I can produce clear and coherent writing in which the development, organization, and style are appropriate to task, purpose, and audience.
I can prepare a presentation with organization, development, substance, and style that are appropriate to purpose, audience, and task.

Description
Whose fault was the conflict at the 1968 Democratic National Convention? That largely depends on from whose perspective the story is told. Select an historical figure from whose perspective the guiding question will be addressed. Independent research will be necessary to successfully answer the question. Students may choose to create a narrative either through a Reader’s Theater or Living History Museum format. Printed scripts must be turned in before the presentation.
