Description of the Project: Students elect to learn a classical song. The
song is performed in front of a judge and they are scored using a rubric. If they score high enough, they may advance to the state level competition. Solo & Ensemble requires time out of school spent learning and rehearsing. The “A” category songs are ranked to have the highest difficulty, with students having to sing in different languages and perform pieces that are rhythmically and tonally challenging.

Audience this project was shared with: Students performed in front of a
judge and a small audience of students, teachers and parents.
