What is the procedure?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If your student will be late and would like to order a hot lunch, please call the school office no later than 8:30 a.m. If your student is arriving after 8:30 a.m., please send a cold pack lunch.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>My child is sick and won\u2019t be in school today. What is the procedure?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The student&#8217;s parent or guardian should call the school as early as possible for the absence to be recorded.\u00a0 Feel free to leave a message, as the answering machine is on 24\/7.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Where is the lost and found?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The lost and found is located in the front hallway near the office.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does the breakfast and lunch program work?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>All students at Grant Elementary are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no charge.\u00a0 If your student brings a cold pack lunch, and would like to purchase a milk, the cost is $.35.\u00a0 Lunch menus are available <span style=\"color: #548de3\"><span style=\"color: #282828\"><a style=\"color: #282828\" href=\"https:\/\/schools.mealviewer.com\/school\/GrantElementary\">here.<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How does my child receive breakfast?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Breakfast is served daily between 7:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. Students arriving for breakfast may enter from the blacktop near the back playground. Students who are not eating breakfast at school may begin arriving through Door 2 and Door 6 at 7:50 a.m. and will line up with their class inside.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How much are school fees and how do I pay them?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The 2024-2025 school fees are $44.00 for students K-5 and $22.00 for 4K students. School fees can be paid through the Infinite Campus parent portal. Log in <span style=\"color: #282828\"><a style=\"color: #282828\" href=\"https:\/\/kenoshaunifiedwi.infinitecampus.org\/campus\/portal\/kenosha_unified.jsp\">here<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n<hr \/>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>School Closing Procedures<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In the event schools are closed, an announcement will be made no later than 5:30 a.m. via local television stations, radio stations, on the KUSD website.
