Building Our Future and Kenosha Unified School District are partnering to hear from the Kenosha community on important priorities for use of COVID relief funds. KUSD will receive $45 million in American Rescue Plan funding, via the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund to address the impact of the pandemic on our district’s students. We invite community members to join us and brainstorm possible spending ideas for KUSD’s pandemic relief (ESSER III) funds. There are two options to join: Wednesday, May 11th, or Tuesday, May 17th. Both sessions will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM at KUSD’s ESC Building. Participants should RSVP at bit.ly/kusd-esser. For more information, contact Lynn Debilzen, Director of Impact & Strategy, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 920.629.1922.
