Dear Families,
I want to take this opportunity to welcome you to EBSOLA Creative Arts School. I am so proud to be the Principal here, as EBSOLA is a tremendous school with a great reputation throughout the county for having fantastic staff, students and families. It is truly an honor to be a part of this wonderful community. I am so grateful for the role I get to play in helping every student and staff member be the best they can be and achieve their academic goals! As your principal it is my personal mission to lead with passion, a spirit of service, and a focus on equity to create exceptional learning environments for ALL our students. As of the 22-23 school year, I have over 28 years of experience as a bilingual educator: 10 years as a bilingual teacher, 5 years as a bilingual reading Specialist and 11 years as an administrator at the K-8 level. These experiences are all ones I have cherished and are ones that have helped prepare me to be an educator who believes in the power of education and community collaboration. I started here at EBSOLA in April 2020, making my first full year in KUSD one to remember for sure with all we dealt with the COVID-19 Pandemic, but we came through it together and I continue to look forward to many more wonderful years to come!
As we head back to school for the 22-23 school year I know our students and teachers will do an amazing job and I can’t wait to see all the great things we accomplish this year at EBSOLA Dual Language.
