Tickets go on sale to members on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.  Numbers will be handed out at 8:30 am and sign up begins at 8:40. You are allowed to sign up for two members only.  You must show both membership cards when you purchase your tickets.  Tickets go on sale to non-members on Wednesday, June 12.

Description:  Join us as we travel to the Wisconsin State Fair - for the animals, the entertainment and the Cream Puffs!!  Traveling with us is a great value and so convenient.  No driving or paying for parking in a far-away lot.  You’ll enjoy air conditioned comfort on the bus and be dropped off right in front of the entrance.  When was the last time you got to go to the state fair?

On the day of the trip arrive at the Shopko parking lot, 5300 - 52nd Street in Kenosha, by 8:45 am.  Park on the far East side of the lot, sign in and load the bus.  The bus will depart Shopko at 9:00 am and return at approximately 5:30 pm.

Description: It’s the great local rivalry, Cubs vs. Brewers!  The price includes your ticket to the game and transportation by deluxe motor coach.  We arrive in Chicago early to give everyone time to spend in Wrigleyville.  Our seats are in section 209.  Don’t hesitate to sign up, this trip fills up quickly.

On the day of the trip arrive at the Shopko parking lot, 5300 - 52nd Street in Kenosha, by 8:15 am.  Park on the far East side of the lot, sign in and load the bus.  The bus will depart Shopko at 8:30 am and return at approximately 6:00 pm.

Milwaukee Ethnic Sampler Meal & Tour

Description:  We begin on Old World 3rd Street with an overview of Milwaukee’s German history. Enjoy sausage, cheese and beer/root beer plus shopping time on Old World 3rd Street. Travel to the Historic Third Ward with a narration of Milwaukee's Irish history. Stop at Milwaukee Public Market for shopping.

Lunch: Enjoy a generous family-style lunch, complete with green salad, cheese pierogi, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, Polish sausage, pork cutlets, and red cabbage.  We continue with a narrated tour of Milwaukee’s lakefront. We’ll visit Brady Street, Milwaukee’s Italian enclave, & stop at a bakery for cookies and shopping then visit Glorioso's Deli for more shopping and a visit to their test kitchen.  Please be aware that this trip requires getting on and off the bus several times, with some walking at each location.

Scarecrow Fest

Description: Enjoy handcrafted Scarecrows, live entertainment, a huge arts and crafts show, a carnival, and petting zoo.  You can even make your own scarecrow to take home.  Plus, there’s plenty of delicious food. Bring a bag lunch or purchase food at the festival.

Description: The Buddy Holly story explodes onto the Fireside stage in a toe-tapping extravaganza featuring the classic songs: “That’ll Be the Day” “Everyday” “Peggy Sue” and more.  You’ll also hear The Big Bopper’s “Chantilly Lace” and Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba”.  Don’t miss this exciting musical!

Kenosha senior center trip refund policy

We understand that plans can change and you may not be able to attend a trip for which you have purchased a ticket, but refunds can only be given if there is a waiting list and we are able to sell your ticket to someone on that list. Please call 359-6260 and speak with one of our Hostesses if you cannot attend your trip. You will be instructed to bring your ticket to the Center, where you will be issued a Trip Cancellation Voucher. We will then do our best to find a replacement for you on the trip. If we are successful you will be notified to come and pick up your refund.
