Seeking Board Members

  • The Education Foundation of Kenosha was organized in 1980 to support the Kenosha Unified School District and its mission. The Foundation has financed a wide range of educational and enrichment projects not able to be funded through the District's normal budgetary allotments.
  • The Board raises and administers funds to support:
    • College scholarships for Kenosha K-12 students
    • Classroom grants to support K-12 teachers
  • Commitment:
    • Attend four board meetings per year
    • Promote and attend fundraising events
    • Participate on one subcommittee

Kenosha Rangers Scholastic 3D Archery - Sept. 17 Meeting

  • We are looking for students with archery experience to join the Kenosha Rangers. There will be a parent/student meeting at Reuther Gym Monday September 17th at 6:30 PM.
  • Elementary is 3-5th grade. Genesis, Compound (open and fixed pin) and recurve (Olympic and traditional) are acceptable
  • Middle school 6-8th Grade Compound (open and fixed pin) and recurve (Olympic and traditional) are acceptable
  • High school 9-12th Grade Compound (open and fixed pin) and recurve (Olympic and traditional) are acceptable

Overcoming Racial Bias in Education - Sept. 24

  • Presented by the Kenosha Coalition for Dismantling Racism
  • Come out to join us for another very important courageous conversation. We will discuss: Overcoming racial bias in education.

Pike River Clean-Up - Sept. 15

  • Petrifying Springs Park Shelter #4 - located near Hwy A
  • 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
  • The Pike River Clean-Up is meant for all ages and all skill levels. If you just want to pick up trash along the river banks and/ or get your waders on to pull tires, debris or log jams, there is plenty to do. Our goal is to keep the Pike River enjoyable for all – kayakers, hikers, fisherman, runners and environmentalist.

Readers are Leaders Tutoring Program - Volunteers Needed

  • Make a difference in a half hour
  • The Readers are Leaders tutoring program, a United Way-led initiative in partnership with Kenosha Unified School District and Building Our Future, provides young children in grades kindergarten through third grade with tutors on a regular basis to increase reading achievement.
