Mrs. Molly Meehan-Scuglik

School Counselor

I am excited to be here at Brompton! I received my Bachelor degree in Communication, Media & Theatre from St. Norbert College and worked in the Advertising industry in Chicago for approximately 5 years. I realized fairly quickly that my career choice wasn’t exactly my passion. I talked with several educators and advisors and decided that what I really wanted to do was to help students (children and adolescents) realize their potential and passion. I began working on a Master degree in Educational Psychology in 2002 and completed my degree at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May 2005.

From 2005-2007, I worked for Prevention Services Network (PSN) as the Coordinator of the Drug-Free Communities grant throughout Kenosha County. In that role, I worked with both schools and families focusing on the prevention of alcohol and drug use and abuse in the community. From 2007-2011, I was a School Counselor (Grades 9-12) at a comprehensive high school in West Allis, WI until I received the news in Fall 2010 that I was pregnant with Triplets!

As you can imagine, once the Triplets were born in April 2011, I decided to take some “time off” to raise my growing family. I have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. My oldest is a fourth grader at a KUSD school and my 2 daughters and son (triplets) also attend a KUSD elementary school – starting 1st grade this year!

Although I am not originally “from” Kenosha – after residing here for almost 15 years, I consider it my home. I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago and have deep roots there but it’s a place a love to visit these days. In my spare time, I spend a lot of time with family and if I can exercise or read a book for pleasure – that’s a plus!

Please feel free to contact me directly with any social/emotional/academic issues you might be concerned about with your son/daughter. My direct phone line is listed on the school website.

I look forward to working with all the wonderful students, families and staff within the Brompton community.  It’s going to be a wonderful year!
