Hello Brompton families!
My name is Linda McDermott and I am excited to be a part of the Brompton family. I am the Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher. I have been employed with the Kenosha Unified School District for 10 years. I was an Educational Support Professional at the high school level until I earned my Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Education in 2015.
I am a Kenosha native, attending Kenosha Unified Schools for my education. I graduated from Carthage College with a double major in Elementary Education and Cross-Categorical Special Education. Before that, I was certified Radiologic Technologist and worked in that field for 24 years. I have been married for 32 years and have three grown children. My oldest son is a very talented Tattoo Artist, son #2 is a Journeymen Electrician just like his father, and my daughter, is a licensed Cosmetologist. I was blessed with a grandson in November of 2015! I also have two dogs and a cat.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I spend as much time as I can with my grandson. I enjoy knitting, crocheting, baking, reading, having coffee with friends and learning new things.
