{"id":824,"date":"2012-08-09T14:29:34","date_gmt":"2012-08-09T14:29:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/brass-staging\/index.php\/?page_id=824"},"modified":"2023-08-11T09:07:32","modified_gmt":"2023-08-11T14:07:32","slug":"parents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/brass\/parents\/","title":{"rendered":"Parents"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>DOCUMENTS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kusd.edu\/departments\/human-resources\/criminal-background-checks\">Criminal Background Check Link<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>WAYS TO STAY CONNECTED<\/h2>\n<p>With all the happenings of a school we will do our best to communicate.\u00a0 Here are the common ways to stay connected:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>School Web Site\u2026.\u00a0this site is updated frequently and has many forms that you can print and send in!<\/li>\n<li>Facebook\u2026.\u00a0\u00a0\u201cLike Brass Community School&#8221; and get inside perspectives of the school and important updates and reminders.<\/li>\n<li>Call us!\u00a0 Our school office number is (262) 359-8000.\u00a0\u00a0 Attendance line (262) 359- 8040.<\/li>\n<li>Email\u00a0\u2013 this is the preferred way by teachers as it is easiest and quick.\u00a0 We will do our best to return all emails within 24 hours or\u00a0likely that same day.<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday Folders \u2013 these come home each week to help with all those announcements, graded papers and upcoming permission slips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>FOOD SERVICE<\/h2>\n<p>Check out the Healthy\u00a0 Hunger Free Kids Act 2010<\/p>\n<h3>MONDAY-THURSDAY LUNCH (Free)<\/h3>\n<p>During lunch, students have basically 4 options that need to be chosen from prior to 9:05 a.m. every morning.\u00a0 Teachers will ask students to choose from the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Option 1:\u00a0 (white card)\u00a0 This is the &#8220;main&#8221; hot lunch offering.<\/li>\n<li>Option 2: (gold card)\u00a0 This is the &#8220;veggie&#8221; lunch offering.<\/li>\n<li>Option 3:\u00a0 (blue card) This is if the student chooses to bring a cold lunch and will be taking a milk.
