Student Voices Matter!
KUSD is seeking junior and/or senior volunteer Student Ambassadors for each of their monthly school board meetings. Additionally, we are seeking volunteer Student Representatives to serve on one of our four quarterly Standing Committee meetings: Audit/Budget/Finance, Curriculum/Program, Personnel, and Planning/Facilities.
Selected Board meeting Student Ambassadors will attend ONLY ONE Board meeting in 2022-23, which will occur on Sept. 27, 2022, Oct.25, 2022, Nov.22, 2022, Dec. 13, 2022, Jan. 24, 2023, Feb. 28, 2023, March 28, 2023, April 25, 2023, May 23, 2023.
Each Standing Committee will have two Student Representatives who serve a one-year term. They will be required to attend QUARTERLY MEETINGS, which are slated for Oct.11, 2022, Feb. 14, 2023, April 2023 TBD, June 13, 2023.
Interested juniors and/or seniors must submit this form indicating their interest, as well as the reasons they would like to serve, no later than SEPTEMBER 23RD.
PLEASE NOTE: Submitting the form does not guarantee selection for a spot. Submissions will be reviewed and students selected based on availability and reasons for serving. If you are selected, you will receive further communication from the Office of School Leadership.

KUSD está buscando embajadores estudiantiles voluntarios junior y senior para cada una de sus reuniones mensuales de la junta escolar. Además, estamos buscando Representantes de Estudiantes voluntarios para servir en una de nuestras cuatro reuniones trimestrales del Comité Permanente: Auditoría/Presupuesto/Finanzas, Currículo/Programa, Personal y Planificación/Instalaciones.
Los Embajadores Estudiantiles seleccionados para la reunión de la Junta asistirán SOLO A UNA reunión de la Junta en 2022-23, que tendrá lugar el Sept. 27, 2022, Oct. 25, 2022, Nov. 22, 2022, Dec. 13, 2022, Jan.24, 2023, Feb. 28, 2023, Mar. 28, 2023, April 25, 2023, May 23, 2023.
Cada Comité Permanente tendrá dos Representantes Estudiantiles que servirán un término de un año. Deberán asistir a las REUNIONES TRIMESTRALES, que están programadas para Oct. 11, 2022, Feb. 14, 2023, April 2023 TBD, June 13, 2023.
Los estudiantes de tercer año (Juniors) y/o de cuarto año (Seniors) interesados deberán enviar este formulario indicando su interés, así como las razones por las que les gustaría servir, a más tardar el 23 DE SEPTIEMBRE.
TENGA EN CUENTA: Enviar el formulario no garantiza la selección de un lugar. Las presentaciones serán revisadas y los estudiantes seleccionados en función de la disponibilidad y las razones para servir. Si es seleccionado, recibirá más comunicaciones de la Oficina de Liderazgo Escolar.
