Parent-initiated transfer window open through Jan. 21

Communities come together to help students plug into future

The Parent Initiated Transfer window outlined in Policy 5330 opened Jan. 1 and will run through Jan. 21. Parents/guardians who want their child to attend a boundary school other than their assigned school must submit a Parent Initiated Transfer Request. Electronic request forms are linked below, or paper copies are available in your child’s school office.

Please note that students with a currently approved parent initiated transfer do not need a new request to remain at their current school. If you have questions about your child’s transfer status for 2023-24, please contact your child’s current school.

To review boundary schools in KUSD, please use the boundary school locator tool or visit kusd.edu/schools.

If you have questions, please call your child’s boundary school office or the Office of School Leadership at 262-359-6008. You can also learn more on the Parent Initiated Transfer Request webpage.
