ESC, 3600 52nd St, Kenosha, WI

The KUSD Board of Education has selected the Wisconsin Association of School Boards (WASB) to assist in the superintendent search process to replace Interim Superintendent Bethany Ormseth. The Board invites KUSD staff and members of the community to provide input on the superintendent search process by participating in an upcoming focus group.

Focus groups help the Board develop screening criteria and interview questions for candidates. This input will aid the Board in finding a candidate who will best match the needs of KUSD. All focus groups will be facilitated by WASB Search Services Consultant Dr. Daniel Nerad.

Additionally, staff and community members can help the Board select and prioritize the Personal Characteristics, Leadership Styles, Specialized Skills, and Expertise believed to be important for the district’s new superintendent via this survey that will remain open through June 16, 2022. This survey also provides the opportunity to identify strengths and weaknesses of KUSD.
